What is Scrabble
Scrabble is a board game for 2 to 4 players. The goal is to earn as many points as possible with the words you place on the board. Each player gets 7 tiles to start with. By making a word with these letters, you earn points. The value of every letter is written on the tile. It’s possible to earn extra points by placing your word on a colored square on the board. The game ends when there are no more letters or when no one can make a word with the remaining letters.
The amount of tiles you play with is different for every language version. Scrabble exists in 29 different languages. The English version has 100 tiles, 2 of which are blank. The blank tiles can be used for every letter. The value of the tiles also differs per language version of Scrabble. Scrabble can also be played online, there are different word game apps like Scrabble, Wordfeud and Words with Friends.
